Did you know that due to the difference in the heights of the body mounting planes for the rack clamps, you will not be able to reach correct suspension geometry with stock clamps? Driver’s side steering link is rised up. Now you know why correct measured bump steer extenders are different on the left and right side in mk1.
24rs lightweight aluminium clamps eliminate this issue because of special design perfectly fited to the body shell fixing steering rack in the correct position. CNC machining guarantee precision and perfect fit to the bodywork. Elimination the flexible part from stock assembly prevents the steering rack moving due to transverse forces during cornering. The clamps improve vehicle handling and driving precision. Thanks to using aluminium used in motorsports clamps are 148gram lighter than stock parts!
