Description
Sequential fuel injection and ignition provide more power, lower emissions, and increased fuel efficiency. Unfortunetly old VW engines ECUs doesn’t implement this type strategies. They also do not contain equipment that would allow this. That’s why you have to add some stuff when you are building powerful engine. 24rs camshaft position sensor is one of them.
There is a few solution on the market for 2.0 16V engines. However they have some issues – mostly leaking because of complicated construction.
That’s why our goal was create reliable product based on minimum quantity of parts. Minimum quantity of screw connections and seals guarantee reliability and maximum performance. It gives also minimum weight extra.
Created product works based on bolted to the cam trigger and small, maximum reliable Bosch Motorsport sensor. Simply and lightweight!
Newer VW engines like 1.8T which are managed by Bosch ME7.X has camshaft trigger with 4 teeth with different width each. This let to ECU know which cycle the engine is on – intake, compression, power or exhaust. Therefore, take the popular modification is adaptation Bosch ME7.X from 1.8T to older engines equipped with a turbo. Special for this application we created camshaft trigger fits to Bosch ME7.X systems.
Advantages:
-
- Simply, reliable construction
- Lightweight design
- Bosch Motorsport sensor included
- Avaliable in two trigger variants
- CNC machining
- 543grams lighter than stock distributor
- Anodized
